Now that school is all done, I have begun the entertaining process of packing all my crap, throwing out all the rest, and otherwise preparing to leave Montreal in about three weeks time.

What this means is that I need to get rid of all my food. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but awhile back I inherited a bunch of canned goods from a similarly-departing friend, and I realise now that I have absolutely no idea what to do with some of this stuff.

So, the challenge for you, my dear readers, is to suggest things to cook with the following list of ingredients. These can be ridiculous, or they can be tasty. I don't care. Leftovers will hopefully get to the food bank somehow anyways. Just consider this training for your future triumph on Iron Chef.

Ingredients To Be Disposed Of, In Order of My Not Having the Faintest Idea What To Do With Them:

1 jar Unidentified Beanylentilly-like Things. I have no idea what these are. They look like kernels of corn that have been halved.
1 can Stuffed Vine Leaves. I don't mean to sound all North-American here, but these things are worrisome.
1 can White Kidney Beans. I'm white. Do these go in my kidneys?
1 can Lentils.
1 jar Cous-Cous. It's fun to say, but is it fun to eat? I'm pretty sure this goes in soup.
1 can Creamed Corn. The picture on the front makes me feel all icky inside.
1 can Whole Kernel Corn. Corn... in a can? I don't get it. Is this for starving people on desert islands?
1 enormous bottle Kim (tm) 'Fish Sauce' (Thai). I don't actually expect to use this, but I'm curious if anyone is familiar with this particular sauce. I would just taste it, but the bottle is unopened. I would hate to spoil the bouquet.
1 bottle Chateau Thierry (tm) Grenadine Syrup.
1 jar Tahini. Even more fun to say than 'cous-cous'!
1 jar Tuong Ot Toi Viet-Nam Chili Garlic Sauce.
2 bottles Rice Vinegar. Yes yes, I know, normally it goes on rice.
1 small container Dehydrated Wasabi. I know exactly what this is, but it seemed unfair not to mention it explicitly, as it is truly the creme-de-la-creme of random recipe ingredients.

There is a decent selection of other sauces, spices, and whatnot that you can assume are available for your recipes and recommendations, as well as vegetable broth and some chicken cubes, tomatoes in various states of dehydration and rehydration, pastas, rice, and the like.

A special prize to anyone who can formulate a three-course meal out of these ingredients that is fit to serve the King of Zembla, should he happen to come by.

An extra-special but unrelated prize to anyone who can explain to me the difference between flaked and chunk tuna.
