It is difficult these days
to convince myself
that there are some things I might be good at
or good for

I feel trapped and everything
I do to turn away
feels like an escape
not a step towards something, just away

It is terrible to be in a state where you cannot distinguish between what you do and do not want to do
even while you are doing it
if you are doing it
which mostly
I am not.

This was easier to write with line breaks, that's all. You can pretend
your words have tripped and fallen down
a hill and they are
just speaking
of their own accord.
